SUDNYA is flexible in the manner in which it delivers benefits to its customers. There are three principal methods of obtaining SUDNYA’s services, each having its own benefits and suitable for a distinct class of customer needs. All the methods are directed towards a performance based remuneration for SUDNYA, which ensures that customers would obtain large, long-term savings.
The Planning Agreement (PA)
The PA is a precursor to the ESA.
Suitability:
The PA is suitable for those customers who intend to “test the waters” before committing themselves to a full-fledged energy conservation programme.
Benefits:
- No commitment to a full-fledged energy conservation programme at this stage.
- Enables the customer to have a bird’s eye-view of the energy issues in their facility before deciding on further course of action.
- It is very simple and can be easily extended to an ESA.
Mechanism:
This simple Agreement merely states that SUDNYA would conduct a study at the customer’s facility and prepare a Report that could be the basis for an ESA. Should the customer decide not to implement the Measure, SUDNYA is remunerated for its effort as agreed to. If the customer elects to implement the Measure, then the cost of preparing the Report is rolled into the project cost and recovered through savings.
